Sunset on Fraser Business Association presents a community favourite – Lunar New Year Lion Dance and Parade on Saturday, February 28th at 11:00am. The celebration will begin with an opening ceremony at Scotiabank which is located at the corner of Fraser Street and 49th Ave. We are lucky to have Chau Luen Athletic Club perform the lion dance for us again this year. Come enjoy the opening ceremony with the dotting of the eyes and the awakening of the lion! Proceeding the ceremony the parade will travel north to 41st Ave along the east side of Fraser Street. It will then come south down Fraser Street along the west side and back to the starting point. Join us for the ceremony and the parade as the lion will grace various businesses and bring the establishments good fortune by receiving the lettuce and red envelope with an entertaining dance!
