The Sunset on Fraser Business Association’s second annual outdoor movie night played the classic, loved, family-friendly movie School of Rock to a full crowd of almost 200 people! The movie took place in the EasyPark lot behind Buy Low Foods at Fraser Street and 45th Ave.
Movie goers enjoyed free popcorn courtesy of Prosper Health & Rehab located at Fraser and 46th Ave, goodie bags of a drink, chips, and other surprises from South Vancouver Community Policing Centre. Also giving away treats like gummy bears and chocolates was Eastside Fitness from Fraser and 41st Ave, and Psychic Gina from Fraser and 48th Ave. Attendees were all set with free treats and provided chairs!
We would like to thank our lead sponsor, EasyPark, for allowing us to use the parking lot for free and donating a handsome amount to cover our costs. We also would like to thank Collingwood Community Policing Centre for donating the use of their screen and providing the manpower and teaching the community about 911 calls. See you next year!
