Sherry Loof is one of eight volunteer gardeners that maintain and beautify our gardens along Fraser Street. With help and support of local businesses and the City of Vancouver, they have been planting new flowers as well as keeping the gardens clean and tidy for the past fourteen years. Sherry loves to beautify Fraser Street by maintaining the gardens and flowers. It is made extra special by the appreciation shown by residents and the conversations this entails. What she also likes about her work is that anybody can garden no matter their age, spoken language, or social background and this perfectly matches our community’s diversity.
