Three Community Murals Coming to Sunset on Fraser!

Sunset on FraserNews

The Sunset on Fraser Business Association is on the verge of publicly presenting its first of three community murals on Fraser Street! The business association is funding, supporting, and developing three murals and the first is by the students of John Oliver High School. Later in May we will have a community unveiling of the ten large murals that will grace the school fence along Fraser Street. Five murals will be near 43rd Avenue and five near 41st Avenue.

Also in May and June, a mural in a digital pattern will be created on the Avenue side of Rokko Sarees at 46th. This mural will be painted by community volunteers and will make use of the vibrant colours of the Sunset on Fraser theme.

Starting mid-June, well-known artist Sandeep Johal will be doing a large mural on both walls at the 46th Avenue passageway (between CIBC and Pita House). This is the former home of the famous hot-pink and black mural from several years ago.
